It is important to know which waste trap type is required and the difference between them. If the waste outlet goes out through the floor then it's an S trap. If the outlet is through the wall then it's a P trapFor a new build ensure you discuss your selections with your Plumber so that the Plumbing will match your choice of toilets.The next thing to consider is which water inlet type will be suitable. Some toilets are available with two inlet options. Bottom Inlet enters into the bottom of the cistern and is connected to an isolation tap via a flexible hose or moulded copper pipe, these are most popular in older homes.
