Choosing the Right Basin Type

Selecting a basin goes beyond just shape. The mounting style dictates how your vanity interacts with the space.

• Vessel (Above Counter): These sit on top of the bench. They act as a stunning design feature. They are ideal for tall tapware.

• Undercounter: These are mounted underneath the benchtop. They create a seamless, flat surface. This makes wiping water off the vanity incredibly easy.

• Wall-Hung: These are bolted directly to the wall. They do not require a vanity unit. This makes them perfect for small powder rooms where floor space is limited.

• Semi-Recessed: These hang slightly over the edge of the cabinet. They allow you to use a narrower vanity cabinet while still keeping a full-sized bowl.
