Introducing the Rheem AmbiPower 280e Heat Pump

One of Australia’s most powerful and efficient integrated heat pumps.

The AmbiPower® 280e is a Low GWP (Global Warming Potential) R290 refrigerant 280 litre Heat Pump – great for replacement of an electric water heater.  AmbiPower 280e is an energy efficient alternative for areas where a traditional solar water heater may not be suitable. It has a high Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 5.2. With its advanced wrap around microchannel heating technology for uniform and faster water heating the AmbiPower 280e is suitable for harsh water conditions; and cold climates (with an operating range from -6°C) to higher ambient temperatures. 

AmbiPower® 280e Heat Pump has been designed and tested to withstand the harsh Australian conditions, with:

  • Enamel lined water tank reduces the risk of corrosion.
  • Side fan design provides maximum airflow and protects from the rain.
  • Durable outer shell in painted sheet metal design with Aluminium top cover to reduce corrosion and withstand harsh weather conditions.
  • LED touchscreen controller provides optimum visibility, product performance information and user-friendly operation.
